Rob's Story
Life
I've been a lot of places and done a lot of things - most of them didn't occur to me until I just did them. I am now a former State Senator and Grampa to my two grandsons.
By the time any one reads this I will have probably already attended my son's wedding in Jamaica. just by chance the hotel I am staying at is next door to Margaritaville. Last weekend he let me sit in the pilot seat of one of the Cobra helicopters he flys out of New River Marine Air Station (when he is not flying them in Iraq). Also got to look in an Osprey - too expensive and complicated for my liking but the Marines now...Expand for more
have a batch of them and are about ready to deploy them to Iraq.
Am now divorced after being married for 34 years.
Have met President Bush before he was elected and several times since. Am considered the most conservative member of the NH Senate. Am on the four committees that deal with state spending and major policy.
Have a degree in math (and Mr. Jensen flunked me in geometry!) Taught math, computers and science at the high school and college level.
Other jobs - Quality engineer and manager, car salesman, parts dept counterman, customer services rep for major publisher/computer co.
