Rob's Story
Life
Worked at GE Appliances beginning January, 1980 and retired the first time in November, 2013. Went back in November 2014, retired again in November 2021. Married to Julie since 1982 until she passed away in October, 2021 (what a shitty year that was). We've got two great kids, Kate & Chris. pliances in Louisville. Actually, she is working on a project to replace the system that her mother and I developed starting in 1980 and I stayed with until I finally retired the 2nd time. Chris is now self employed running a business called TQAMP along with his wife Amy. He travels the country training camp operators how to create inclusive environments for LGBTQ+ kids.
