Robert's Story
Life
Jan 1st, 2006 I left High School in 1969 and immediately entered the U.S. Coast Guard. I married in 1971 and in 1974 had a son, Michael, while living in San Ramon. After my service in the CG I went to work for Piedmont lumber Co. in Walnut Creek. In 1978 I divorced and moved to Danville. In 1980 I married for the second time. In 1982 my wife Cindy and I had a daughter, Jamee'. In 1985 we had a son Joshua and in 1987 we had another daughter Lacey. We lived in Danville for 24 years and when Lacey graduated from San Ramon High we moved to Placerville where we built a new home. Cindy and I have been Married for 25 years. Michael has a son Koven who is 6 years old. My daughter Jamee' is a 2000 graduate from San Ramon High School. Jamee' was a surgical tech at Pleasanton Surgery center but has recently moved to Washington State to be with her fiance' who is in the Navy and stationed on the U.S.S. John C. Stennis, an air craft carrier. He will be discharged in August of this year and Jamee' and Alex will be moving into our home until the wedding in May of 07. My son Josh is attending college at Utah Valley State College. He is studying to be a fire fighter. Lacey has graduated from San Ramon HS and is attending Utah Valley State College. My son Mike and his wife had a baby boy on Nov. 12th (Mikes birthday) his name is Kaden Robert Hart. Mike is now 30. I can't believe how time has passed. It seems like yesterday I was sitting in the bleechers waiting to get my diploma and on with my life. Today is June 28th 2006. I'm still alive! Nothing much has changed except that Jamee' has now moved back to our home. Her fiance' Alex is at sea. He will be discharged from the navy at the end of July and will be joining us here in Placerville. Their wedding is planned for May 19th. 2007. One day after Cindy and I will celebrate 27 years of marriage. Lacey is home for the summer. She will head back to Utah and school on August 26th. My son Mike and I just got back from a week of scuba diving in Cozumel. Cindy and I gave him the trip for his 30th birthday. It was a trip that I will never forget! Man! I never thought I would have a 30 year old son. What a trip it's been!
It is now June 15 2007. Jamee is now married (May 19th 2007) one day after Cindy and I celebrated ...Expand for more
our 27th. wedding anniversary. Jamee and Alex have left for Shelbyville Kentucky where they will live for awhile. Alex will be going to college there. He wants to be an engineer and build bridges. Josh and his fiance' Cacia are living with us now. He is still persueing a career in firefighting and emergency medical care. Lacey is still at Utah Valley State College. She will receive her AA degree in a few months and will go on for her BA. She wants to work in the medical field.
January 1st 2008. Cindy and i are still in Placerville, Ca. I have gone to work for AmeriGas Propane. I drive a 3000 gallon propane delivery vehicle. It is a seasonal job at the moment working from October through around the end of March. Jamee and Alex had big wedding ceremony on May 19th 2007 although they actually got married on Dec 31 2006. Hence I am working again! Mike and his family are doing great in Walnut Creek. His wife Michelle and their two sons Koven (8) and Kaden (2) are all well and doing great. Lacey is still at the Utah Valley University, as it is now called. She just received her AA degree and is starting on her BA in January. She wants a career in Radiology. She has always had a "glowing" personality. She is now 20 years old and I can't believe it! Where did the time go? Josh (22) and his fiance Cacia have a new son, Matix, He was born on November 16th 2007. They are currently living with us while Josh waits to hear from the Ca. dept of corrections on his job application. He is currently building a house with a local contractor while he goes through the background check. More later. Well,it's time to catch up. It's November 8th 2008. Josh has gone to work for Amerigas and works in the service dept. He is still waiting to hear from the State but with the budget crisis in Ca. things don't look good for a job with the State. I am still driving and delivering propane. Lacey has received her AA degree and is well on her way to getting her BA degree. Luckily for us she has received another scholarship for her music. Jamee' is still in Shelbyville Ky. She is working at a hospital in Le Grange Ky. as a surgical tech. She and Alex just bought a house in Shelbyville. Mike and Michelle have moved to Brentwood and Michelle is assistant director for a pre school there.
