Rob's Story
Workplace
I have been working for the Miami Township Police Dept. since 1990. During my career, I have been fortunate to do many things! After working patrol for awhile, I spent a few years working as a detective. Then I was transferred to our Community Policing Bureau where I did crime prevention, worked on neighborhood problems and helped staff our Citizen's Police Academy. working in the Patrol Division on day shift where I am a Duty Officer (in charge of the shift when the sergeant is off) and also serving as a Field Training Officer breaking in new recruits. I am married to Jennifer and have two children (Ben and Holly) and three step-children (Stephanie, Chris and Kelly). The oldest two are in college. We live in Milford/Miami Township. We had a weekend home at Lake Cumberland, but just sold it due to the condition of the lake.
