Robbie's Story
Life
I retired in January 2003 after 30+ years with the CSX Transportation Railroad. Been married twice, first time for 13+ years
and had 2 sons, divorced for 20+ years and remarried in Nov 2003.
my wife and I lived in condos before we married, but purchased a home in Moncks Corner, S.C. shortly after we married. We have 3 cats, total of 3 children, and 5 grandchildren. She retired in ...Expand for more
2005 with 39+ yrs civil service, I stay busy doing yard work, playing golf, and riding my Harley Davidson Softail Classic.
I finished Appalachain State in 65, taught school and coached 7 years, and finally wound up at railroad in May 72. Worked total of 17+ years as Conductor and 13+ years as a Trainmaster.
Life has been good overall, and I enjoy seeing and hearing from old
friends.
