Robby's Story
Life
I graduated from NC State in Dec 1998 with a BS in Electrical Engineering. After graduation I went into consulting for the wireless telecom industry for 5 1/2 years for a company based in Atlanta. It was a good opportunity to see a lot of the country. I finally got tired of being on the road constantly and moved back to Raleigh to work for Nextel at the end of July '04. married to my awesome wife Jamie. Two months after that I started working with the same guys who started the company I worked for in Atlanta, this time we're working out of Raleigh and in the smart grid industry. As of the start of 2012, I've been working with them for almost 2 1/2 years now as a program manager, working with a couple of local NC utilities and one in TN. Thankfully I am considered strategically located and did not have to make the move to San Antonio when our company headquarters moved their last summer.
