Robert ( Bob )'s Story
Hello all former classmates from the Sanford Meridian class of "69", and all other friends that I've made over the years.
Not much to tell about my life. After HS I had a brief 2 year stint at Ferris State College, and then moved to Traverse City, MI in 1971. Worked several jobs and then decided to be a full-time musician for a while. Spent over ten years as a musician - playing all over Michigan in the 70's, and then throughout the mid-west in the 80's; Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, and N Dakota. Had a great time.
While playing at a Holiday Inn. I met the love of my life here in Milwaukee in February of 1984, and then moved here in November of the same year. We've been together ever since. I have 3 wonderful step-daughters and 7 step-grand kids.

got a degree in Hotel/Restaurant management. I've worked a number of places including a 7 year stint at Marquette University as a food service manager for their student dining services, plus various other college dining services. Right now I work for Sodexo in their School Foods Division. Now that I don't have to work weekends, I might just get back into music. The problem will be finding old musicians my own age that are still playing - or alive for that matter. If not, I can always do some digital recording in my basement.
After not having ridden a motorcycle for almost 35 years, in September of 2008 I bought the Harley Sportster that you see in the picture. It's a 1998 95th Anniversary Edition. Nice bike...and fast too. I love riding. Hopefully within a couple of years..I'll move up to a bigger bike.
