More about Robert:"I hope that I can touch the heart of at least one person each day with good words. Yes, those who know me - know that i have been through a very rough time in my life over the past year or more. But in the end, I prevailed, and came out if it better than before. Through the grace of God - I have lived Redemption. He has taken nothing from me without replacing it with something much greater, and in this way I am blessed beyond all measure. You can too - no matter how hard it is, i promise you that He never breaks a promise and always fulfills the soul and makes the heart dance again! ---- With that said, here is Rob's Cookbook for Life!
15 Rules I Try To Live By
15. ALWAYS tell the other person on the line 'Thank You' before hanging up.
14. If you find something beautiful about someone, tell them.
13. If you see an elderly person, TAL...Expand for more
K to them. (If they run away, or walk away using their walker, that's STILL okay)
12. SEE A SOLDIER, THANK A SOLDIER.
11. When you give, try to give from your own need. It's honest to the soul that way.
10. Hold your kids, Wrestle with them until they can laugh no more.
9. Feed them after you wrestle them.
8. Wake the family up at 5am on a Saturday and take them to breakfast in their jammies.
7. Thou shalt LOVE Baseball, and EVERYTHING that goes with it.
6. IF you see an artist endeavor, and it inspires you, find out a way to learn it yourself!
5. Tell three people you haven't spoken to in awhile how much you appreciate them. Use the word 'love' as much as you can. Have the courage to do so.
4. The more languages you can speak, the deeper your appreciation for other cultures. Travel if you can to remote places no one else gets to.
3. Be an Adrenaline Junkie, live for the moment you are in. Milk it for all it is worth, do it with gusto, passion, and zeal. Be possessive over your moment, you never know when your time is up.
2. Be friends with your own eternity. Know that you will have it all end one day. Once you are at peace with that, where you are with God, and knowledge and grace of Heaven which awaits, you will live every day as if it were your last.
1. Take care of yourself. Take pride in your appearance, Give Respect to Others, but Expect Respect for yourself. Do not swear, but use words that edify and build and encourage. No matter what the situation, do not let it overtake you. Be of your OWN inspiration by the words you shall choose. Love God, Walk in His Love, and All good things will come unto you. Carpe Diem!".
