Life
Graduated in 1959, the last class from Plymouth High. Enlisted in the Air Force after 1 semester at Mason City J.C., ended up overseas. Got married to Joann, my high school sweetheart, while in the A.F., moved to Illinois in 1964 after discharge. Have 3 children, 1 daughter, 2 sons, 9 grandkids, and 8 great-grandkids (most are step). ce 1965. Like to garden, golf, bowl, play slow pitch softball, and collect rock n' roll oldies. Still root for the Hawkeyes. Just observed a couple of life's milestones in late May of 2021. We celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary, and I hit the big 8-O. Who would have thought about that happening, going back to our high school days? Not liking this getting old stuff, it's not a game for sissies, but it beats the alternative.
