Robert's Story
Hi CLass of 75.
It's been many years since WJ. The mascot has changed, the building has been renovated more than once, and I don't get into town as often as I would like to these days.
After high school, I went to a semester of college, but found that I was simply bored with school (a feeling I tell kids these days to ignore. Go while your parents are paying). I worked for a while, then in early 1978, I moved to NY to work in my aunt's company. In 1981, I moved to Arizona to manage the company's warehouse in Tucson. ation to Los angeles, where I remained until 1989, at which time we consolidated the operation back to NY.
I met my wife of 42 years at the company. We were married in 1982. She took a shot and moved to AZ with me before we were married.
We have been in Stony Brook ever since. I have 2 terrific children, a daughter who graduated from Pace Univ. in May 2008, then pursue a career behind the scenes on Broadway, her dream since she was 10. My son graduated from Keene College in NH. He works in finance.
Life has been good, all things considered.
