Robert's Story
What have I done since high school? Hmmm. Went to school at Los Medanos and played in the band there for a while and took a number of math and computer science classes. I also spent my summers touring the country with the Blue Devils until I turned 21. Not sure if it's a plus to say I've driven across country 5 times.
After Los Medanos, I had a short stint at San Jose State, majoring in the Spartan Pub and occasionally taking classes. Once that small portion of my life was over I married my high school sweatheart, Deedy Evans and finished college. We have two beautiful kids, daughter Lindsay and son Christopher.
Lindsay is heavily into ballet, swimming, and her friends. Chris is easy...baseball. He's all about baseball. At 10 years old, he pitched his team into the USSSA World Series ...Expand for more
finals down in LA. The first team from Northern California to make it to the finals. At 11 years old, he pitched his team into the Fall State Championships. He wants to play ball in high school. He witnessed College Park Baseball win the NCS at the Oakland Colosseum. To say he was inspired is in understatement.
My daughter just finished her freshmen year on the College Park water polo team. She's never played Water Polo before, but loves the water. Seemed like a perfect match.
I currently write software for wireless devices and get paid to occasionally travel around the world. My kids have been bitten by the travel bug and have fallen in love with Europe.
