Robert Bryan's Story

Life Happily divorced; currently (ever so carefully) reattached. :) Currently working at Troll Systems which designs articulated and High-Definition remote video controller systems and microwave downlink equipment for major broadcasters and affiliates as well as DoD. Also recently worked for Eaton Aerospace writing and editing engineering test procedures and test reports for the hydraulic systems used in aircraft including Boeing 737, 777, 787 & C17 as well as Airbus A350, A380 and A400M and for DoD on the JSF F35 program. Also worked at Boeing Satellite-Space & Intelligent Systems writing and editing operational and engineering specifications to mil spec standards for Modular Test Systems, Component Engineering and Materials and Processes. Also worked for Special Devices Inc, documenting propulsion module subsystems for military aircraft and surface to air ordinance systems as well as Titan and Hellfire air to air anti-aircraft missiles. (Getting sleepy yet? I'll bet you didn't expect to get a compendium of my freakin' resume, did you? Sorry about that. Hold on though, there's more) Most interesting work (as far as I'm concerned) included performing extensive projects for Walt Disney Imagineering: researching, writing, illustrating and editing documentation for all the special effects systems for several attractions at Disney Sea in Tokyo including attractions like Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Crystal Skull and The Seven Voyages of Sinbad. But mostly, a lot of Special Effects design and technical work for Theme Parks. More specifically: Universal's Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios Florida 1997-1998, Universal Studios Hollywood 1998, Universal Studios Japan 1999-2000 and Warner Bros Movie World (Madrid) in 2002. oordinator for several themed attractions and Halloween events in different markets from 1993 to 2000. Other work activity and clientele over the years has included Black & Decker, Hewlett-Packard, building computer control systems for Morrison Knudsen locomotives, Goldsmithing, Bartending and Graphics Design work for stylists and entertainment industry jerks (oops, I mean... um... talent [?]). Recently designed and prototyped several halloween products and animated toys for Fitco and now Sunstar gifts. These are national manufacturers, distributors and retailers. Look for these items on store shelves including K-mart and Party City every October. These items include a strobing fogger, a skull fogger, a tombstone fog cooler, a cat fogger, a haunted candleabra and a custom tombstone carving kit. Also now dabbling alittle in web design, among other things. As of late 2007, I am beginning a new side venture of designing and fabricating a new line of visual effects products for the high-end Halloween and "Haunter" markets. These items will be like the stuff you see at the Disney parks, but self-contained and portable. Unfortunately, between work, domestics, family, finances etc. etc., bringing these designs into fruition is taking FOREEEVEER! So please be patient. Eventually I'll get this stuff finished, up and online and, if you like theme parks and special effects, I think you'll like it. Keep checking out my website imagineerie.com when you get a chance (this website hides web and email addresses... A#%HOLES!). Anyway, I only put all this crap here to satisfy my colossally unhealthy ego. If you made it this far, I'm happy to inform you that you do not suffer from adult ADD. My regards to you and I hope I didn't bore you too much. If so... ...sweet dreams
