Life
I was in the army for about 5 years. I just returned from spending a year in Iraq. I'll be out of the army as December 31st, but I'll be in the National Guard for another 3 years because of the mandatory service stipulation. So I'm back in Whittier for that. But I've had a chance to leave for a little bit. Been to Georgia for a year, then I was in Korea for a year. After that I was in Arizona for 2 years before doing my year long stent in Iraq.
Lets see, I've run for City Council in Whittier twice and I was the campaign strategist and manager for a state assembly campaign. I ran for Congress in 2000 after which I rejoined the army because I had a premonition which came true almost a year later in September of 01.
Got a AA in Business Administration and was working on a BA in political science which I cut short to join the army.
I'll be finishing that off though. I'm also working on my photography license. I've already done one photoshoot and I have another scheduled for January. Though for some reason there seem to be rumor...Expand for more
s that I am running for something. I won't deny nor confirm that. At the moment I just want to get my business going and settled in.
I'm a casting manager at a major international corporation. I set my own hours which is good.
Though, since I've been back in Whittier, I've been checking things out and I'm not pleased with the S hole this place has become. What the hell have our leaders been doing? Sitting on their duffs with their fingers up their rears? WTF? Nevermind, I already know the answer, they been pointing fingers and playing the blame game. That's all the Democrats and Republicans seem to be good for. They sure as heck haven't been doing anything solve our real problems like global warming, reliance on foriegn oil, corruption, immigration, crime is going up, and our officials are putting the interests of their parties first. WTF is their problem? Do you understand what I'm saying? I'm going to run for something. Too many people putting party interests ahead of the national interest. We need nonpartisan people up there.
