f Robert's favorite quotes is:""I hope you like birds. It's economical; it saves going to heaven" Emily Dickinson, U.S. poet".
More about Robert:"I spent 41 years in education, published a series of articles and book chapters, and spent 5 years on the Board Of Directors of Phi Delta Kappa International (an association of professional educators) representing the southeast United States, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. I spent the last eight years of my career as an academic coach working one-on-one with teachers to help them deal with disabled readers in their classrooms. Now I'm retired, a reader of mystery novels, and an avid birder. I'm very active with the local Audubon Society and a regular field trip leader. My goal is to spend at least one day birding in all 50 states. I've visited 28 (just returned from Colorado) and am planning a new trip for the winter and/or the spring of 2018.
