Robert's Story

Graduated from Temple University in 1955, inducted into the US Marine Corps as a commissioned officer, graduated from US Navy Flight School as a Naval/Marine Aviator. As a fighter pilot I flew the AD Skyraider (a single engine attack bomber), the FJ-3 FuryJet, and F9F Cougar, both single engine jet fighters. After leaving the Marine Corps in 1959, I went into sales/marketing with Dow Chemical Company, Formica Corporation, Lawnboy Division of the Outb...Expand for more

I became an Independent Manufacturers Agent in 1976, helped to very successfully introduce "Weed Eater" into the marketplace, then later started my own company, Wellington, Ltd., a hazardous waste transport company. I retired in 1998 and presently reside in Mt. Laurel, NJ. I play golf three times per week (weather permitting), am married, have three children, two step children and nine grandchildren.
