Robert D's Story

After losing my wife, Barbara (Leigh)(UNL grad, '55), after 50 years of happy marriage, and raising three healthy kids...Teri, now in Nashville with husband,Scott, and our two teenage granddaughters, Allison and Amy; Rob,living in Chicago; and Tricia, in Seattle, with husband, David, I've settled into a life of theater and movie acting, music,web-surfing, and singing bass in our church choir and ensemble. being inducted into the Radio/TV Broadcasters Hall of Fame in Ohio. I set up a small recording studio at home, and do commercials for various clients, in Florida and New York City, receiving and sending by email. Ain't technology wonderful? I became a Christian 37 years ago,(1976) and, after being ever-so-grateful for His gift of Barbara's love for over 50 years, I'm enjoying whatever He tosses me way in my "golden years". God Bless!
