Robert's Story
Life
On one hand, my life hasn't turned out anything like i expected, and yet, as I look back on the decisions I've made, I'm not sure it could have turned out any other way. I've never married, don't have any kids, which is disappointing because I thought I'd be the type to fall in love with a high school or college sweetheart and have a "traditional" life. But, I'm a stupendous uncle to my three nieces, and I'm much closer now to being ready to settle down. n into the routine of "get up, go to work, come home, watch tv, go to bed, repeat next day", there is absolutely no denying that i envy those of you who already have a spouse, kids, a van, and a regular life.
College
I like to say that I've been asked to leave two of the best schools in Wichita, and that isn't far from the truth. I was in and out of Wichita State while attempting to start a couple of businesses. I then attended Friends University to finish my degree, but ended up turning my project into a business plan and leaving to pursue it.
