Bob's Story
Workplace
Prior to joining McCourt Associates/Wilson Learning in 1990, Bob Davis worked with a division of Eli Lily selling high-tech systems through financial system analysis. In that role, as a member of the marketing department, he developed and delivered an entire sales curriculum for their salesforce (with a focus on negotiating, selling, presentation skills, and product launch training). Programs were conducted in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia.
Bob currently focuses on helping organizations develop and deliver results oriented training. He has done much work to assist clients in building reinforcement systems that link product and strategic direction to skills training. Bob has been a featured speaker at national meetings for companies as diverse as Arrow Electronics, Precision Robotics Incorporated, Braun USA, Edwards Life Sciences, Freudenberg Non-wovens, Genzyme, The Hartford, Inso Software, Perrier Group of America, Sallie Mae, Serono Laboratories, Sharp Consumer Electronics, Sun Life of Canada, Teradyne, US Catheter Inc and Witco Chemical as well as a variety of trade organizations. Those presentations have been to salespeople, senior executives, business owners and distribution channel partners for groups from 12 to 300 people. Bob has also been a guest speaker at the Boston University Graduate School of Business Management.
