Robert Denton's Story
It's been a long time since "Westminster High School ... we're poud of you ..". Long live the blue and white. Since graduation, I have attended dear old CU (BA), UConn (MS and PhD), Univ. of Michigan (postdoc and lecturer) and Univ. of Illinois (postdoc and visiting assitant prof.). Immediately afte graduation from CU I taught high school; for one year in Branford, Ct. After Univ. of IL I taught at Vasssar for three years and then moved here to Lafayette, La. I was married for a while (the 8 years of my life I have a hard time remembering .. probably a protection mechanism). I retired from the Univ. of Louisiana at Lafayette in August, 2008. Right now it is toward the end of July, 2010, and, as usual, we are at the start of hurricane season and putting up with very hot and humid weather. Lafayette is a nice place to live with lots of music, good food and many festivals. I like to bicycle and to play keyboards. Anyone want to start a band?
