Robert's Story
I feel very fortunate that I lived with both my parents in the same house on North Greenwood Avenue throughout my school years. I attended Duval,Darby and Fort Smith High. I then attended Westark and Ouachita Baptist College. In 1962 I married the most wonderful person I have ever known, Linda Hudson, class of 1962. We are still very happily married and have four children and nine grandchildren. In the middle seventies I was a City Director and Vice Mayor of Fort Smith. After living in Fort Smith for almost sixty years we moved to Bella Vista, AR in 2002. I am currently the construction manager for a prominent real estate development company in Rogers, Ar.

R, where we currently reside. I retired from my construction management position 2011. I am now a "part time" construction inspector for an engineering firm that is located in Tennessee. I inspect construction sites located in northwest and west central Arkansas. For the past 2 years I have spent a lot of my spare time writing a Biblical historical book based on the life of Jonah. I hope to finish it sometime this year. Linda and I are members of 1st Baptist Church of Rogers, where we both sing in the choir. We love spending time with our kids, (3 sons & 1 daughter), and our 9 grandkids. Our favorite hobbies include fishing, hiking, and kayaking. We also enjoy watching Razorback sporting events and St. Louis Cardinal baseball games.
