Life As an author for CRC Press and IGI Global, I provide CISA and CISM training material. Publication of my training material is directly related to acquiring a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Business Law, a Master of Business Administration degree in Management Information Systems, and Doctor of Business Administration from Temple, West Chester University, and Walden University, as well as being awarded a Certified Information Systems Auditor certificate. I also hold a Certified Internal Controls Auditor certificate issued by the Institute for Internal Controls. Furthermore, during my twenty years of involvement with education, I obtained Postgraduate and Professional Technical licenses in Computer Science and Computer Systems Technology (issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Education). During my auditor career, I have provided data security consulting and information system auditing services to USEC, Raytheon, U.S. Interstate Commerce Commission, Dow Jones & Company, and Fidelity/First Fidelity Bancorporations. Prior to my involvement in information technology, I was an accountant for Philip Morris, USA and Phildelphia National Bank. In particular to information systems, some of my professional software and hardware experience includes MVS, UNIX, Windows, Oracle, the International Money Management System, PERL, COBOL, PASCAL, DEC, IBM, Tandem, Compaq, and DELL. Additionally, I continue to instruct college students concerning Management Information Systems and Computer Science and hold memberships with the American Association of University Professors, The Institute for Internal Controls as well as ISACA.
