Robert's Story

Life ---April 2007 --- Well as we look back and see all the things you deal with in life you realize that in School you are only starting an identity that will last your life time. I can only say thanks to all the great people that I have come in touch with and the fine memories and friendships that were created. Some of you never got to really meet me other then in passing. If I could only relive my school years I would have done things differently and would have gotten to know more people and not have been so shy. I have realized in life that we are a product of our parents and it is only within us that can change the things you didn't like about your parents to make you a better person. I am married to a beautiful Wife and have three kids that have made me who and what I am today. I don't wish divorce on anyone, having to go through it with my Mom and Dad after being married for 38 years really sucks. Seeing how your complete ideas of family, beliefs, and commitment totally thrown out the window really made me step back and take note to how important your mate is, your family is, and how we only have our kids for a short period of time. My wife is from PA, who has the heart of gold and the love for the beach (Siesta Key here we come). My oldest daughter is playing fast pitch softball and will continue to play travel ball in Sarasota. I started a 14u team called the West Coast Rockets where she pitched but now she guest plays for teams out of Tampa. She started pitching last year and helped take Spring Hill to the 2006 Dixi...Expand for more
e Worlds Series in Louisiana, where we finished 7. She goes to an all-American pitching coach - Jaci Davis in Saint Pete. I finally gave up playing softball and play only a couple times a year in tournaments. My next daughter is Haleigh who was fine at birth, but the DPT shot caused her to have a stroke at 6 month old, thus she has some major medical issues that keep my wife and my self on our toes. Then come my boy and he is all boy - Holden. Holden is the kid that your parents say boy I can't wait till your a parent and God will bless you with a child like yourself. Holden is very smart, has way too much energy, and is very intrigue on just about anything. Holden caught his second bass over 5lbs this past March 2007, boy what a memory. I can truly say God has given me a joyous 43 years of living and dealing with all kinds of unique issues. If you ever get to Sarasota look us up and have a drink on me or maybe do some bass fishing or salt water fishing. I want to close in saying - remember to live and give your family the most you can because you never know when our last hour will be and they will only remember the memories of your life. Always remember God won't give you more then you can take, so no matter the highs and lows in life to always look that tomorrow will be a better day.
