Robert F's Story

Attended UT at Austin; received BS in Physics. That was a mistake; I should have pursued a degree in Computer Science, since that's all I've ever done. Worked for Lockheed, Dynacs, and now Akima, all contractors to NASA JSC. Mostly work on simulator development. Never married; never came close to the altar, except once ...Expand for more
as best man. Enough lost opportunities to kick myself over daily. That has now changed; I got engaged on Christmas Eve, 2009. The wedding date is however still TBD. Have two nephews, both attending A&M. Became a Bridge Life Master in 1996. Haven't played much since, as I have lost a significant portion of my hearing.
