Life I was born and raised in Hugo. After High School I went work at Campbell Soup in Sept. 1980. Work there till May 81. Went to work for the Choctaw Co. Sheriff Dept. in June 81 as dispatcher/deputy. Was promoted to field deputy in Mar.81. That summer I patroled Hugo Lake Area... I went to Cleet Council on Law Enforment Training Sept thru Nov of 81.. I married my wife in Nov 81. In Mar 84 I went to work for Hugo Fire Dept. as EMT/Fireman/Arson Investigator... In Oct 84 moved to OKC went to work for a Security Comp.. Worked there till Mar when I went to work as Police Officer for the Dept. of Public Safety. Oklahoma Capitol Patrol.... Now Oklahoma Highway Patrol.... I worked there for 14 yrs and 4 months.. I saw and done alot.. but on April 1995 first Monday after Easter that year, my whole world changed in a instance... at 09:02 am. I was approx. 5 miles from the Alfred P. Murral Building... I was at a insurance hearing... I was on the 3rd floor. This building was located NW Hwy and Portland Ave... The building shook... Ceiling tiles fell from the ceiling.. I first thougt that a Jet had broken the sound barrier... because of Tinker Air Force Base... Approx. 1 min later sectaries on the south side of the building, told me there was smoke coming from downtown... My first thought was that someone had blew up the IRS Building.. I went to window and saw the smoke. It was white at first, with my training I knew immeditely that it had been a bomb... At this same time my walkietalkie went crazy... I left and rushed downtown...
