Robert's Story
Life
I moved from Verdun and St. Willibrord's to Otterburn Park and then to St. Hubert. When I finished school, I became a police officer (1966) on the south shore until 1986 when I moved to Ontario. After a short period of private industry, I returned to the legal field in 1989. From 1989 thru 1996, I was a Prosecutor for Provincial Offence matters for the City of Vanier and managed their Muncipal Law Enforcement program. til May of 2000. In August of 2000 I was hired by the City of Kawartha Lakes to set-up their new Provincial Offences Court Administration. It was to be a six month contract that eventually turned into a three year stay. During that time, I managed their Court Adminstration, Procecutions, Fine Collections and Municipal Law Enforcement. In 2003 I was appointed by the Province of Ontario as an Adjudicator to the Ontario Rental and Housing Tribunal. I am currently a Prosecutor with the Region of Durham.
