Robert's Story

Life I guess I'll post this short bio to let you guys have an idea of what's been goin' on in my life since I left SCA. Well, I graduated in July of '99 and left for the US in September. I immediately enrolled into a community college in Houston, TX. Had a blast the whole year there, working on the side at Wal-Mart; hey it was my first job in the US, what do you expect. Plus, it was good. After a year, I transferred over to LeTourneau University in Longview (an hr. between Dallas and Shreveport) where I stayed for about two years and a half. Because of a stupid mixup with the renewal of my financial aid, I had to leave the university and work off the "debt" I had at the end of my last semester there. Except for this inconvenience, I would have to say I have had the best time of my life here. Well, after six months of working two jobs (barely sleeping at all) I...Expand for more
got fet up and went back down to Chile. Where I am currently at. I am, in fact, all the way down in Pto. Montt. I am happy, I have a good steady and well paying job as an English teacher and translator. I am not, I guess, SATISFIED, but I am happy. I have my own nice little car ('05 Peugeot 206) and will soon be moving into my own place, Lord willing. Not married, not even dating. Don't think I am ready, I'd like to be well established before anything else. Plus, haven't met anyone I would truly wanna date, and in effect, marry. I pretty much busted my knee, so any soccer profession I may have dreamed of is as shattered as my knee. I really don't know what else to say. I certainly do not look like what I did when I graduated. I guess the only thing that is the same are my eyes. Anyways... I guess you guys can just ask me personally if you wanna know something.
