Robert Halfpenny:  

Life Attended WMU ISU and Indiana/Purdue. Married in 1973 and divorced in 1986. Had 2 children Victoria Sydney 28 who will be married in 8/03 in NJ. Victoria was at ground zero plus 5 blocks on 9/11/01 and saw both buildings hit and collapse. Son Alexander Whitmore is 20 and attending Rose-Hulman Institute of Tech. in Terre Haute. Supposed to be number one undergraduate eng. school in America for 4 years running. He is in Computer Engineering and Science and is still on the Dean's List. He got all his smarts from my Dad. I remarried in 1998 to Beverly Hecker Ritt. Didn't know it at the time but the wife's family is a really big noise in Minnesota which has made a very big change in my life and lifestyle. Aside from that fact she is also one of the nicest and kindest people you would ever want to know. I love her a lot. To those of you living in Minnesota, yes, Beverly is one of THE Hecker's---in fact Denny is her brother. For those of you outside of Minnesota, Bev's brother was the cover story in the November 2003 issue of Minnesota Business Monthly. On the front cover of the issue it refered to his personal empire worth a cool 5 Billion (that's right with a B)dollars. It does make for very nice Christmases. But most importantly is that he is a kind and extremely generous person who gives a lot more to charity than most people of his wealth. He is also as down to earth as they come.
