Robert's Story
After high school, I thought I was set for college. That was short lived as I discovered studying and school was not for me. Sat out a few years back in OKC working at Deaconess Hospital prior to trying again in '80. This was great and led me to my wife who was the dean's daughter. Was that a scare for a while! Kids started popping up so again put the education on the back burner while doing the right thing and supporting the family back at Deaconess in OKC until 1994. Airlines just to keep the wife at home with the kids. Went back to college and finally graduated in '96. The road is not as important as getting there. Since graduation have tried several things but have settled into a career in aviation.
Currently working for Pinnacle Airlines, a regional airline doing business as Northwest Airlink and Delta Connection. Worked my way up the ranks from agent to regional manager in ground operations now. Current oversight of 74 ground operated cities across the country. Life is fun but definitely in the fast lane...
