After school, even though I had a few academic scholarship offers, finances led me into the military, where I spent several years, with the better part of them overseas. Crossed the Atlantic twice and Pacific once and really enjoyed the experience of the exposure to some new and exciting cultures. Phoenix was home though so eventually returned. to a more prosperous one in my current locale, out of state. Do manage to get back home often and even spent recent New years Eve there celebrating. When the time comes, definitely will retire there, but that's a long way off. Having too much fun living and enjoying life at the present. God's often been better to me these past years than I've been to myself, but I'm learning and appreciative.
