Robert's Story
Bob passed. He was bedbound for years. He fought the hard fight but lost. He had lost the things that meant a lot to him. He couldn't eat and he loved eating! He couldn't watch the Chiefs and Royals and cheer them on as he couldn't understand the game anymore. It was his time to leave this world. He had family with him. Just thought I should add this note If anyone was searching for him. Bob's birth name was Bobby DeVine. There were 8 of them and all of them have passed, but he has nieces and nephews that one day might look for family. So posting this name for them. We were married in 1965 so were together for a lot of years.

t 5 years ago, Bob started having memory problems. Then things got worse and he was diagnosed with diabetic mini strokes (TIA's). These are strokes that you don't know you have. They come and go quickly. By the time they found them in Bob they had done damage and Bob's memory was spotty. We had a tough few years with lots of time in hospitals. He is bedbound but stable now. Able to enjoy TV and KU basketball. Remembers a lot of people from the past. Does ok on the big things but will ask me over and over the little things. Anyway, just thought anyone stopping by might want to know how Bob is doing. He is not in pain and he is stable.
