Robert James's Story
Life
Robert James Gallo, M.D., FACOG completed
medical school with honors at the University of
Rome, Italy. He grew up in Palisades Park, NJ,
and graduated from Fordham Preparatory
School and Rutgers College in New Brunswick,
NJ. He completed his residency at Rutgers
Medical School and at the Margaret Hague
Maternity Hospital in Jersey City. He has been a

1983, and has been on the staff of Hackensack
University Medical Center since 1981. He is a
member of the Medical Society of
New Jersey, and the Bergen County Medical
Society. He is a fellow of the American Fertility
Society. Dr. Gallo has been married for 30
years to the former Theresa Henry of Tappan,
New York. He is the father of nine children, and
is a proud adoptive parent of three more.
