Robert's Story
Life
I currently live in Northern VA. I joined the Air Force after high school and traveled to some interesting places such as Hawaii and Korea, ending up in OKC. I left the Air Force to work for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as an electronics tech and haven't looked back.
School
Not a lot to mention here, but I do miss some of the people from the various levels and occasionally wonder what happened to them. I would have not taken life so seriously, but also studied harder, if those things are compatible. My M.O. was quiet, wore glasses, non-athletic (except for breakdancing), and did I say quiet :) Spent most of my last two years of high school at the Southeast Career Center and while I met some people I am still friends with, don't know if I would do that again.
College
News flash...I graduated this Spring (2007) with a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma. So, I am done for now, but who knows about the future...

't have any crazy college days to revisit, but I am familiar with all night study sessions and last minute papers nonetheless. Being an adult (perpetual) student isn't what I had in mind for college when I left high school, but that is what I have been over the last ten years. However, going has been a challenge.
Workplace
Update...I now work for ITT as a Program Manager with a staff that supports a FAA customer on finance and planning projects. From beginning my FAA career as an electronics technician repairing circuit cards and systems, then evaluating instrument landing systems as an airborne technician and now working in the private sector, change has been a regular part of my career.
Military
Looking back, my decision to join the USAF was far more important than I imagined at the time. I was able to leave home and develop into the person that I am today. There are not many regrets from my military service except losing contact with people who were important to me.
