Robert's Story
Attended University of Hawaii, instead of Kansas Statute University, as my dad received orders for Hickam AFB. My stint at University of Hawaii was characterized by surfing more than I attended class. Enlisted in the USAF in 1967 by default - the waiting list for the Navy was long and my draft number low.

Vietnamese. Stationed for three years in San Vito de Normandei AS never Brindisi, Italy.
Returned to US, finished up undergraduate and law degree (Washburn Universtiy). I have practiced law for over 35 years now, mostly insurance law.
Served as the Assistant Commisioner of Insurance for Kansas (1995-2000).
I and my wife, Sherri, have two children: a son, Robert III, in Wisconsin, and a daugther Shannon, in Overland Park, Kansas.
