Robert's Story
Life
Have been in the Navy for the last 17 years. Have three great kids. I am currently in Iraq for the next six months.
After that it is back to Diego Garcia for nine months.
Out on the island we have a small radio station I am in charge of and we also send out TV news reports from the island.
I have deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Ir...Expand for more
aqi Freedom. I would be lying if I said it has been all fun but I know the job has been important. My kids are my life and I get home to Ga. to spend as much time with them as I can.
Military
Been in the Navy for 17 years now. Just doing it one day at a time. Been on five deployments and been in two different rates. Currently deployed to Iraq for a six month I/A.
