king 22 - 26 credits per semester was NUTS in hindsight!). With my super-active social life, my grades were so-so compared to high school. In my sophomore year I pledged Theta Xi fraternity. This was a really unique place at the time, being the only co-ed fraternity on campus. It made a really interesting and ecclectic environment to live and make great friends. But times change and the national fraternity began the process of revoking our "experimental" co-ed status while I lived there which caused a lot of contention. Big things I remember about living at Theta Xi was my goofy roommate who had to drop-out to pay the $1000/month long distance phone bill he ran up talking to his out-of-state girlfriend 24/7; as VP/Social Director of the fraternity organizing one of the biggest campus parties held during my college years (way beyond raging kegger... it was amazing!); and making an ill-fated business play publishing "The Men of Michigan" calendar at the time when such things were all the rage (ours was the first one published in color and won several awards for design). My big regret from that experience was the money my friend/business partner's parents lost fronting us for the venture. It pretty much ruined our relationship, but it was a most interesting experience.
