Life
My wife and I were married in 1954 and have enjoyed our matrimony of marriage. We have resided on 51 acres in Dorset, Ohio for the past 15 years. We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at the Mediterranean Party Center in Bedford Heights, Ohio. Hosting the event was our son, Robert L. Jr. and wife Maria Freeman of Bedford Heights, Ohio, and daughter Taunja Olabisi of Cleveland heights, Ohio. Harriet (James) and I were married on November 20, 1954, in Marion, Ohio.We renewed our vows on November 20, 2004. I retired as postmaster of Ashtabula, Ohio in 1992 after 35 years in the Postal Service. My wife Harriet is a retired librarian and cosmetologist.We enjoy our children, grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren. Our energies will invigorate both of us as we jour...Expand for more

I attended three schools growing up in Cleveland, Oh.from the years 1942 until I graduated in January 1955. They were Doan Elementary, Empire Jr. High, And Glenville Sr. High. Went to Tri-C but didn,t get a degree. Carried mail in Cleveland, Oh., promoted to Supervisor, Supt., Manager, Area Mgr., and retired as Postmaster of Ashtabula, OH., 44004 on October 1, 1992, after Thirty Five (35) Years in the POSTAL SERVICE.LOVE MY RETIREMENT.
Workplace
Worked for the United States Postal Service on and off from 1955, until 1992, clerked, carried mail, forman, supv., supt., manager, area manager in Cleveland, Oh., and retired as Postmaster of Ashtabula, Oh. 44004 on October 1, 1992 with 35 years of service. LOVE MY RETIREMENT!
