Robert's Story
Here's what Bob's been up to....
BS and MS in Geology from Penn State while doing Navy ROTC. Became Navy pilot, flew patrol planes with overseas deployments & taught ROTC in CO. Left active duty after 8 yrs & joined USN Reserves (still flying), jobs in mineral exploration and underground mining in MO. Changed job to environmental geology/engineering consulting plus transferred to Army National Guard in Springfield, MO - learned to fly Huey & Blackhawk helicopters. ced retirement from the military Sept 08 (rats!). Still doing environmental geology, play baritone & bass sax, and contrabass clarinet in bands, and sing in church and community choirs. Other hobbies are snakes, caving, hiking. Married for 3rd (final!) time to wonderful RN MS nurse. We have 4 sons: Harvard Medical MD/MIT PhD, actor in LA, metal parts designer, architect.
