Robert's Story
Life
I went to Macalester College in St Paul, and I received degrees in Computers, Economics, and Psychology. I also played basketball and ran track.
I got married in 1999, and we have 2 children.
Currently I own a technology company that specializes in computer vision and mapping. I have 24 patents, and I enjoy my work a great deal.
We spend a couple of months each winter in the south, but we also enjoy living in Minnesota.

Workplace
I started as an intern at LaserMaster while still in college, and worked there for 8 years. I learned a great deal and met lots of fun people there. I left as VP of Product Development, when I realized that the company wasn't really committed to printing, and Larry was leaving!
I started Facet Technology to focus on the computer vision ideas I had. Being involved with a startup has been a lot of fun, and hard work. I expected that the first company would fail, but due to some luck and great people we have been successful.
