Right after graduation from Easton Area High School in 1963, and working at the "Food Basket" in Forks Township, nine (9) of us joined the U.S. Marine Corps; Jerry DeHart, Jack Ahart, Charles (Chuck) Snyder, Dennis DeNardo and William (Bill) Palmer. In addition, three (3) others; were from P'burg., and off to Vietnam Jerry Dehart and myself went.
All three (3) of the guys from P'burg have passed away (Jim Barns, Dave Williams, and Gordon Korbobo).
