Life Right after graduation from Easton Area High School in 1963, and working at the "Food Basket" in Forks Township, nine (9) of us joined the U.S. Marine Corps; Jerry DeHart, Jack Ahart, Charles (Chuck) Snyder, Dennis DeNardo and William (Bill) Palmer. In addition, three (3) others; were from P'burg., and off to Vietnam Jerry Dehart and myself went. All three (3) of the guys from P'burg have passed away (Jim Barns, Dave Williams, and Gordon Korbobo). I have two tours in Vietnam. Both tours were in the DMZ area. I was wounded Oct. 10, 1969, (10:00AM) at the end of my second tour, Radio Operator, and forward observer, Hq. 4th Marine Reg. My last duty station was Marine Bks., Long Beach, Ca. Was promoted just before I got out to S/Sgt. I still got out. I now live in Palm Springs, Ca. I'm a retired Federal Criminal Investigator (Federal 1811) and Federal Police, Detective/Ass't. Chief of Police, and Chief of Veterans Affairs Police. I am not married and no children. I'm in two published books by name, and I am writting my own book.
