Robert's Story
After graduation I kick backed and hung with friends and worked. Few years later I moved to Reno, Nv. Moved back here (San Jose) about a year and a half later. Worked for a local radio station 95.3 KRTY for 7 years. I finally got married and moved to Folsom. Got a great job and bought a 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback GT350H clone. Took it to Hot August Nights for 3 years. I had the car for 5 years and had to sell it back in 2013.
My wife and I moved in Oct 2015 to Lake City, Co. Its a very small town population of 400 and the elevation 8761 ft.
We, love it here it is so quite and very beautiful here. Plus, you can go up Alpine Loop in a 4x4 of course. We, bought a 2016 4 door Wangler Ru...Expand for more
bicon. We, drove the back roads to Durango for out 11th Anniversary.
Why, did we move here? Well my wife's brother is a Sheriff Deputy here. After talking to him that I was interested in moving here he said, it would be a great idea. So, we can be around them and our nieces and nephew. This place is kinda like Mayberry. We, have lots of wildlife here (bears,deer,elk, foxes, coyotes,etc.
I still keep in contact with my best friend of 30 years Sean Disel. He got married and moved to Reno. He still has his 1966 Ford Mustang Fastback. He shows it every year at Hot August Nights. He also, has a Mach 1 with all numbers matching. Not sure if its on the road yet but I have a feeling it is.
