School
Well, after graduating from Miramonte, I headed to Rice University. This turned out to be the best 4 years of my life. I adored the campus, the people, and the experiences. Throughout college, I was planning to go directly to law school after graduation. But during my senior year, I realized I wanted to make a change. low-income school in inner-city Houston. This was by the far the most challenging and rewarding experience of my life. During that time, I completed my Master's Degree in bilingual education from the University of St. Thomas in Houston. I now serve as a sixth grade teacher at an amazing charter school in Houston called the YES College Preparatory School, and I will be teaching a course for undergraduate students at my alma mater, Rice, in the spring!
