Robert's Story
After graduation I worked for my father a bricklayer until I joined the Air Force in May of 1963. I spent 3 years at the Air Force Southern Command Headquarters in the Panama Canal Zone. I had a very interesting job working in the communications center as a teletype operator and cryptologist. I was always thankful for Brother John who taught me to type. It was a big boost for my job.

2 years while working. I worked my way through the IT field becoming a programmer and data recovery specialist until I retired.
I have always enjoyed boating from an early age. I have gone through 6 boats over the years from 18 to 33 feet. I was also a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary f or 32 years.
Currently I am a Docent at the Dossin Great Lakes Museum on Belle Isle. I am there on Saturdays and will be back when we can open again.
I am a widower and raised a daughter from an early age.
