Robert's Story
I started school at Raynal in first grade in 1946 /47. MS Hurd was my teacher. Mr. Shaw was the Janitor and rang the bell.. I went there intill part of the sixth grade Ms. Craig was my teacher then. . We moved across town on Texas street and I went to Lamar the rest of the year. chool, then at two different places in the Projects one on Morton St. and later on Gandy St. My best buddies were Robert Pearson and Albert Garner I remember the Wrights and Elain Weger, joy Williams, Them two could knock the hell out of a softball.. The Bradshaws, , Larry was a good Football player along with James and Jackie Hunt Neal Shire s and I think ? Billy Ray Thorn ? Mozal, Audry and Bob Foster Barbra Gamson, Freddy Wright, Gerld/Jerry Fullton .
