Life
Contrary to what may be popular belief, I live.
Sudden and Major change of Plans. We had been going to move to Omaha where I was working as an Assistant Manager to a video game store. After 4 months there, however, I was offered a promotion and now have a store of my own in Storm Lake Iowa.
God sure has a funny sense of Humor.
After Graduation I went to UNL for a short time, where the choice had to be made between working and eating, or going to school and not.
I met my wife there. 8 months after we got married I joined the Army for 4 years. I spent Most of my time in the Army at Ft. Carson Colorado, except for a 4-month stint guarding Patriot Missiles in Saudi Arabia following the war. I left the Army to go back to school, and now have an Associates De...Expand for more
gree in Math, as well as an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Electronic Technology.
I had intended to study toward a degree in Genetic Engineering, but found that I HATE physiology. c'est la vie. Life never quite works the way you plan does it? I missed my BSCET by a hair. Had to do the old "Eat or School" thing again. Only needed to do an internship and Senior design project too. Oh, Well. Life just sucks sometimes huh? I have been trying to find a few of my high school friends for a few years now, has anyone seen Geoff Allen?
I'm currently working for the largest video game retailer in the World.
Wouldn't mind moving back up to Minnesota, but we'll see what god has in mind.
There is one MAJOR drawback to my current location...... No Free Poker games.
