Robert's Story
After High School I did a couple of years in the Army. Wasn't for me. Did have some good times in there though and learned a few things. Went to college in Idaho for a year. Really it was more like one semester. I screwed off the second semester. College wasn't really for me at the time either. Eventually ended up in Seattle WA where I have been since about '92. Got into a union drywall/metal stud framing trade where I went through their apprenticeship and became a journeyman. Got bored with that and happened to be in the right place at the right time (for once in my life) and got involved in an elevator apprenticeship program. nd became an elevator mechanic. I have been doing that for the past 11 yrs. I love it.
Had a few marriages and deaths along the way. Married for the third time now. They say third time is a charm. Have buried 2 brothers, 2 sisters and my mother. They also say what doesn't kill ya makes ya stronger. Some truth to both of those statements.
Making plans to eventually get back to Montana. Looking to live out the rest of my days in the Missoula area. I am very tired of the hustle and bustle (not to mention all the people who can't drive in a little bit of rain, God forbid it should snow here) of the "big" city (comparatively speaking).
