I am healthy. My height is still a bit over 72 inches (6 feet, 0.25 inches) and my weight varies between 210 and 220 pounds, dripping wet. My eyesight has seldom been better with two recent corneal grafts (I had two corneal grafts in the early 1960's.) and two cataracts removed. I had a colonoscapy (sp.) last month in which 4 non-malignant polops (sp.) were removed.
I should never have procrastinated on having this procedure done. But I did. It takes some time, but it is no worse than having a quick bout of "the shits" and we all have had that experience at least once. If your doctor suggests that you do it, get it done now. I waited several years to get it done and it could have been too late. Thankfully it was not.
I'm enjoying playing bridge with friends at the Hyde Park Center for Older Adults. I play there once or twice a week with Dianne and her friends. It is great fun and I've become a fairly good player even though Dianne never fails to call my attention to a lapse in my good judgement.
I enjoy riding my bicycle about the streets of Hyde Park, Mariemont, Mt. Adams, Downtown, Newtown, Indian Hill, Loveland and Milford, as well as on the trails at Lunken, Armleder and the Little Miami Bike Trail. My bike is red, I wear an old helmet and I carry tools with me so that I can fix or adjust almost anything.".
