Robert's Story
My life profile starts at Trinity Lutheran School in the mid-seventies. After Trinity, I attended St. Mary's High School in Stockton, California. I then went to San Joaquin Delta College part time for about four years. During that entire time, I attended First Baptist Church. I worked at the Stockton Transit District during my college years, and I moved to South Lake Tahoe and worked for Harvey's Hotel Casino from 1987 until 1990.
I got married in 1991 to a woman who had two children but had never been married before. We lived in Stockton California for our entire marriage. We had two children together. We stopped attending First Baptist church in Stockton and transferred our membership to Quail Lakes Baptist Church in Stockton, California.
We were very bad at money management, and we were dragged into the pit of despair. Then in 2003, my wife decided that I wasn't bringing enough excitement into her life, so she had an extramarital affair. I attempted to repair the marriage after I found out, but in June of 2004, my wife moved out of our home. After some time apart, I started the divorce process, which was finalized in November of 2005.

e got married. I took full responsibility of the two that we had during our marriage. In 2007, I moved back to South Lake Tahoe with my two younger children.
So I'm now a single father of one who lives with me and three who are living their own adult lives. My older son lives in Washington State, my older daughter lives in Stockton, California, and my younger daughter lives in South Lake Tahoe. I live in South Lake Tahoe, California. My home is about one block from El Dorado Beach and about two blocks from the South Lake Tahoe Recreation Center.
I have a website at Meltonnet dot com slash family that allows members to send me e-mail directly from the main page. You have to register to use it, because I don't want strangers looking at pictures of my daughters and grandchild.
My youngest child was recently in a terrible bicycling accident and was comatose for almost three weeks. He has some severe brain damage, but he is young and his body is building pathways around the damaged area. In fall of 2010, Christopher went back to regular public high school. He's doing very well and is on track. In Spring of 2011, my younger daughter moved into her own place, so Christopher is now the only child living with me.
