Life
Most people that read this actually only know the "OLD" person I used to be. Now however, I am NOT that same person. I found out that sin is like quicksand. Your own efforts only make you sink deeper. "ONLY" an outside hand can pull you out. This is why I owe my all to Jesus Christ and His saving grace. I have changed so much that I can only praise Jesus Christ from whom ALL blessings flow for giving me the power, wisdom, truth, love and persistence necessary to go through all the changes to get me here where I am now. I have gone through an amazing transformation in my mind and this has allowed me to understand life to a degree which brings me to a new approach in how I think and act. I have a very good life now and I have a genuine smile simply because I do trust and obey our Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ. I hope God has blessed you also and that through your search about life, happiness, death and eternal life will reveal God's amazing grace through His only begotten son. Our future happiness and success completely depends directly upon a focus on Jesus Christ and His way, truth and life... Study His instructional manual and share in God's awesome love for us ALL... PLUS! if you are a child of God's please pray for me, let me know and I will pray for you... PLUS! if I have offended any person in my past please accept my sincere apology and forgive me for my sins. I did not EVER, in full understanding of real genuine love through actions, ever, mean to hurt, injure or disrespect anyone on the face of this earth... Now I see and clearly we have such a wonderful future, we are simply so rich with God's love and power. Today, 10/28/2014... God gets better! I hope you have found God's transforming power in your very own lives (Romans 12:2) and understand that God's Holy Spirit stands at the door of EVERYONE'S heart and knocks, will you also let Him in? he won't barge in and try changing you IF you don't want. However, He helps you to see that without His saving grace we die in our sins and are forever separated from His love and plan of each one of us. WE choose and we decide to follow Him in the person of His ONLY begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Oh! I am NOT so Heavenly minded that I am no earthly good, however, read James 4:15 and see why I put Him first in all my ways and Proverbs 3:all tells why... Love to all my friends, foes and people who don't even know me. The Bible contains the mind of God, the state of man, the way of salvation the doom is sinners (without Jesus Christ) and the happiness of believers. It doctrines are holy is precepts are binding, its histories are true and its decisions are immutable. Read it to be wise, believe it to be safe and practice it to be holy. It contains light to direct you, food to support you and comfort to cheer you. Its the pilgrims map, the pilots compass and the soldiers sword. Christ is its grand subject, our good its design and the glory of God its end. It should fill the memory, rule the heart and guide the feet. Read it slowly, frequently and prayerfully. It is a mine of wealth, a river of pleasure and it will be remembered forever... We ALL need His help to understand the battle in the mind (Ephesians 12:all) but God gives us armor the protect us from the enemy (Devil/Satan) who seeks to destroy us. Just look at the world and all the temptations of the children of today. Wow! Please trust and obey because there is NO other way to be happy. Need my help just call me 24/7... I was a freshman in High School and on the freshman football team. Next I decided to get my GED and then signed up for ACC. I did more traveling around the country. Years later I went to Hartnell College in Salinas California for one year. Bible College in Oakland California. Now this was a major turning point in my life, after studying the Bible to find out where we came from, what is going on now, and where were going after . This ability to understand exactly what gives us the power to refuse temptations and how to get close to our natural creating Father blessed me. Only God is able to give us wisdom and forgiveness. Befor this I would think about doing some rather crazy things and NOT be able to control my actions, I had no wisdom. Because I studied God's Holy Book I found out "whats really going on" and now my life is a whole NEW ball game. After years of searching, studying, learning, falling down I was now able to understand "why" and "what" makes a person get up and keep on standing. It is leaning on the promises of God. I learned that ONLY a closer walk with our Father (GOD) by studying His instructional manual (Holy Bible) and talking to Him (praying) gives us the clear understanding and the power necessary to be able to overcome temptations and win the "battle in the mind" and still keep standing. Just like the song says " I was lost, but I have been found, I was blind, but NOW I see". After Bible College I was able to try out what I learned. My life has changed so much that I feel free of my old self and new with power and strength that ONLY comes with a closer walk with our Creator, God, through His Son Jesus Christ from whom ALL blessings flow. I still have much to learn and we actually never stop, however I have come such a long way and there is no turning back. I still study the Bible because it gives us the truth and NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH! SO THANK YOU GOD FOR HELPING US...
Workplace
I am fortunate to have been working every sense I was a young boy. I worked on my uncle's farm for years, having a paper route for two years, doing yard work for my grandfather, etc. etc. Going through school, traveling around the country, making just soooooooooooo many bad mistakes (sorry I did not mean to). Going to Hard Knox Acadamy, and back and forth to other Hard Knox Centers in between school, and more traveling, finally landing in San Francisco when I was 18. I still was in search for something, but I did not know or realize what it was. However, for 12 years now my brother, Dave and I have been a steward of several large properties here and one in Glens Falls, the Calvin building. Here in San Francisco we restore old victorians, manage three upscale apartment buildings, taking care of the property, any tenant issues and are the security. I am a contractor and work with the city of San Francisco to help make this a better city to live in. I also work with children who do not have earthly father figures, the homeless, and my elders.
By the way, I did not mention certain mistakes by name because that was then and this is now. No need to dig up the things I did in the past that God put to death in my nature. So don't think I am hiding things because I don't want anyone to know some rather foolish mistakes. I don't tell about all my mistakes because that would not do anyone any good. I do capitalize on my changed life and even though I am not perfect I try hard to live in righteousness. I am fortunate to have struck it rich here in San Francisco but I don't consume my fortune on myself. I actually believe and live the life that is pleasing to OUR Heavenly Father, not my own self-centeredness that wants to show off and act like I am better because I have obtained a good financial posture. God is great, and shows us the right path which lead to success, happiness, and eventually eternal life. Retirement, uh, only if I can't walk.
