Robert's Story
Life
Last time I left feedback I had just gotten married to a beautiful wife and was working as a manager of a store. I'm still a very happily married man but boy has life thrown my bride and I some tough Blessings. We were married in sept 2001 ans in may of 2002 I was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy, which I guess I had my whole life but was to stubborn to let it slow me down but as life would have it I finally ran out of luck and it caught up to me. Now I'm one of Jerry's kids. It's been a couple years in the wheel chair now and I count my Blessings every day Just knowing it could be so much worse. I was on the telethon labor day eve... who would of thought.
Life is good.

We are doing very well And I will soon aquire a service Dog to help pick up the slack where my Muscules are concerned. This dog is so smart it's amazing what a dog can learn to do. Right now it's more like they are training me as well as the dog. Unfortunately the dog is a much better student. Any teachers reading are thinking nothings changed there. LOL...Expand for more
. Life is good. I'll soon have a van with a lift so I won't be trapped inside any more. it's been a few years since I've had the freedom I once took for granted. A great place called mobility For Idependece has been helping my family and I raise the twenty seven thousand needed to purchase the van. look them up on the web or google them if you feel the need to give they're are great group of people.
Bless you all and take care.
Some poeple say that beauty...
Is only as deep as the skin.
When thinking of true beauty...
I think it's found within.
It's true that there is beauty...
That is pleasing to the eyes.
But through the years that beauty fades.
And it's amazing how time flies.
If we live to be a ripe old age...
Our youthful looks will start to cease.
The beauty that's inside of us...
Has potential to increase.
When we think of beauty...
Let's use a phrase from days of old.
Our eyes the can decieve us.
All that's glitters is no gold.
