Robert's Story
I'm 65 now and not in the best shape. I walk with a cane because of arthritis in my knees, can't get up and down easily, I'm overweight, my hands tremble and shake (but it's not Parkinson's, thank goodness), and I take a whole slue of pills daily for high blood pressure, etc. -- physically, time hasn't treated me very kindly. But I'm not complaining, just stating facts. I love being retired. I do some consulting work on the side to supplement my retirement income and keep life interesting. en very good for me. I love listening to music, especially jazz and blues from the 30s and 40s and classical music plus some old favorites such as Joni Mitchell. I didn't like the Q&A, the way it makes you choose A or B too often. For instance, I love both the Beatles and the Rolling Stones equally. I hope to encounter some old friends here and learn how life has treated them -- maybe even renew friendships and carry them on into our twilight years.
